This is an interesting link that someone posted in the Apple discussion groups showing images in varying resolutions. Obviously, if you have 5000 images it might have a problem attempting to sync them all to a song that is only a few minutes long! It might be fun to see what happens though For simple slide shows you drag in your images, drag your sound file (MP3, etc) into a little sound window there and click a button that tells iDVD to sync the images to music and it just does it. I viewed the images on my old sony dvd player on a 4:3 sony tv, as well as my progressive scan panasonic dvd player attached to a 6:9 hdtv display and they look good on both set ups.īTW, while iMovie can create excellent slide shows, as others have suggested, iDVD has a very simple interface for this as well.
